About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Reliability Engineer to lead product reliability initiatives for next-generation thermal management solutions. This role will focus on ensuring product durability, performance consistency, and long-term field reliability for consumer electronics, industrial embedded systems, and data center applications.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in environmental, mechanical, and thermal reliability testing, failure analysis, accelerated life testing, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute reliability test plans including life testing, environmental testing, and accelerated stress testing.
  • Analyze product failures using root cause analysis tools such as Fishbone, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve reliability issues.
  • Work closely with design, process, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product robustness.
  • Conduct statistical analysis on reliability data, including Weibull analysis, MTTF, and failure rate modeling.
  • Support new product development by establishing reliability requirements and validation plans.
  • Review component and material selection and conduct qualification testing to ensure long-term durability.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct customer specified reliability tests and generate detailed report.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, product quality, or testing.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability principles, failure analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Experience with environmental chambers, shock/vibration testing, pressure cycling, or HALT/HASS.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, Excel, or similar software.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in automotive, electronics, data center, liquid cooling, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of JEDEC, IEC, MIL-STD, ASTM reliability standards.
  • Familiarity with DOE (Design of Experiments).

Base salary: $110k - $180k*

*In addition to Base Salary, total compensation includes a generous stock option grant and annual bonus.
