About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Red Hat OpenShift Architect and Cloud Engineer who can operate across both professional services and pre-sales domains. This hybrid role bridges hands-on platform engineering with consultative architecture design and sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain OpenShift clusters across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, including performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Lead platform migrations and infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Helm, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD).

Collaborate with sales teams in pre-sales activities such as technical discovery, solution design, and proof of concept (PoC) delivery for enterprise clients.

Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) while advising clients on DevOps, microservices, and platform modernization strategies.

Create technical documentation, mentor junior engineers, deliver client workshops, and work with Red Hat and ecosystem partners to align delivery models.
Basic Qualifications
- 5–8 years in IT engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
- 3+ years hands-on with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes in production
- Experience with:
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Tekton)
- DevOps practices & SRE principles
- Automation (Ansible, Terraform, Shell/Python scripting)
- Deep understanding of Linux, Networking, Storage, RBAC, and TLS management
- Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) or higher
- Familiarity with:
- Ansible Automation Platform, OpenShift GitOps, Service Mesh, or OpenShift AI
- DevSecOps, regulatory compliance (finance, healthcare, government)
- Background in platform engineering or cloud security preferred
Salary Range
$150,000 - $180,000 + Benefits
