About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media & Creative Content Coordinator to join our team in Redwood City, CA. This is a hands-on, creative-first role focused on executing Gruve’s social media strategy and scaling our brand presence across multiple platforms.
You will design graphics, edit short-form video, write captions, schedule posts, track performance, and support campaigns. You’ll collaborate with executives and practice leads on thought leadership content, while also helping expand our employee advocacy program. Working closely with Gruve’s Social Media Manager and Head of Outbound Marketing & Comms, you’ll gain mentorship and experience in all aspects of social media operations, with opportunities for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and adapt content: graphics, banners, carousels, captions, and short videos
- Publish and schedule posts across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Substack
- Support product launches, partnerships, and campaign rollouts
- Collaborate with executives to produce thought leadership content
- Track KPIs, compile reports, and contribute to monthly creative audits • Maintain content databases, templates, and brand consistency
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, design, or content creation (internships, freelance, and entrepreneurial work count)
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), or similar tools
- Strong writing ability for captions and professional B2B social copy
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, startup, or agency
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., LinkedIn dashboards, Sprout Social)
- Creative mindset with an eye for design, trends, and social-first storytelling
Salary Range
$50,000 - $70,000 USD + Benefits
