Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Development Engineer II (DevOps) to join our growing technology team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to work alongside experienced engineers, supporting and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge DevOps tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and similar tools

Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-native applications in collaboration with senior engineers

Provision and configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)

Maintain system uptime, reliability, and performance using observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Write automation scripts and support routine maintenance tasks

Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

Participate in on-call rotations with adequate training and mentorship
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical field

Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals

Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go)
- Passion for automation, problem-solving, and learning modern DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Foundations or DevOps-related certifications)
- Open-source contributions or personal GitHub projects related to DevOps
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps workflows
- Knowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) or service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
