Position Summary:

We are seeking a Security Consultant - II (DevOps - RedHat OpenShift/ OpenShift) with strong hands-on experience in network automation, container orchestration, and infrastructure operations. The role involves supporting and enhancing OpenShift/ Kubernetes and hybrid cloud environments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and automating network and system deployments.
You will work closely with Network and Firewall Architects to ensure seamless integration between containerized applications, on-prem networks, and security platforms in a hybrid infrastructure setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, administer, and optimize OpenShift clusters for performance, scalability, security, and reliable pod/service/network connectivity, including Linux (RHEL/CentOS) node, storage, and container runtime management.
  • Implement DevOps and automation pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and IaC principles to automate network, system, and application configuration tasks.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration and delivery of microservices, leveraging Git, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
  • Collaborate with Network and Firewall Architects to align OpenShift/ Kubernetes networking, segmentation, and security with enterprise network policies.
  • Ensure observability and operational stability by implementing monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), performing incident analysis, managing changes, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in OpenShift/ RedHat OpenShift/ Kubernetes administration, network operations, or DevOps automation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or OpenShift or Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, or equivalent automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting (Bash/Python), and container networking (CNI, Ingress/Egress).
  • Familiarity with network routing and connectivity troubleshooting (BGP, OSPF, or VXLAN concepts).
  • Experience with Git-based CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or CCNP DevNet Specialist.
  • Experience with Apigee, Istio, or service mesh integration.
  • Basic exposure to cloud-native Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or GKE).
  • Familiarity with API automation and DevSecOps practices.
