Position Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting observability, OS engineering, and distributed monitoring initiatives to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with fellow SRE engineers to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the technology stack, spanning from bare metal infrastructure to the application layer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own monitoring stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, ELK.
- Build and maintain dashboards, queries, alerting policies, and thresholds.
- Manage Linux systems across Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Debian.
- Operate Kubernetes with a focus on observability and policy enforcement (CRDs).
- Drive automation and SLO-aligned observability improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering experience.
- Experience building distributed monitoring and logging pipelines.
- Proficiency in Linux and Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Proficiency in event and log-based management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Service mesh experience (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Distributed tracing expertise and log pipeline optimization.
- Strong CNI networking knowledge.
