In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise clients in the tech, e-commerce, fintech, and SaaS sectors. If you thrive in a startup environment, have a passion for technical sales, and excel at building relationships with DevOps, SRE, and engineering leaders, this is your opportunity to shape the future of observability.Key Responsibilities- Prospect and generate leads through outbound efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking at industry events (e.g., KubeCon, SREcon, Ignite, re:invent).- Conduct discovery calls and product demos to showcase how our observability platform solves pain points like downtime reduction, faster incident resolution, and scalable monitoring.- Build and manage a sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation and close, using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to tailor pitches, handle objections, and incorporate customer feedback into our roadmap.- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales quotas by focusing on value-based selling and ROI demonstrations.- Stay current on industry trends in observability (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) and SRE best practices to position our solution effectively.- Provide post-sale support to ensure smooth onboarding and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.- Travel up to 20% for client meetings, conferences, and team offsites.Required Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in DevOps, monitoring, APM (Application Performance Monitoring), or infrastructure tools.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a startup or high-growth environment.- Strong understanding of technical concepts in cloud computing, Kubernetes, microservices, and SRE principles.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Proficiency in sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, Seamless.ai, Salesnav, etc.) and methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger Sale).- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup setting.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience selling observability or SRE tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or similar).- Existing network in the tech ecosystem, including relationships with engineering leaders.- Familiarity with open-source communities or contributions to observability projects.- Certification in sales (e.g., Sandler) or technical areas (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).Why You’ll Love It Here- Direct Customer Impact – The solutions you will represent will power critical AI-driven operations for enterprises.- Varied Challenges – help bring AI-driven solutions into real-world scenarios.- High Growth & Visibility – Influence GT and customer outcomes.- Fast-Paced, Collaborative Team – Join a passionate group of sellers who value speed, creativity, and impact.To apply, email: careers@neubird.ai
