This role focuses on full-cycle sales, from lead qualification to closing deals via phone, email, and virtual meetings. If you have a knack for technical conversations with DevOps and SRE teams, enjoy high-velocity sales, and thrive in a startup setting, you’ll play a key role in expanding our customer base in sectors like tech startups, e-commerce, and SaaS.Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound prospecting to target commercial accounts, using tools like LinkedIn, email sequences, and phone calls.- Qualify prospects based on ICP fit, uncovering pain points in monitoring, incident response, and system reliability.- Deliver virtual product demos and presentations tailored to commercial needs, emphasizing quick ROI and ease of implementation.- Negotiate and close deals with shorter sales cycles, focusing on value-based pricing for mid-market clients.- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in CRM (e.g., Salesforce or Apollo), tracking metrics like conversion rates and deal velocity.- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging, handle objections, and gather feedback for platform improvements.- Achieve quarterly quotas for closed-won revenue, bookings, and customer acquisition in the commercial segment.- Stay updated on observability trends (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack) and SRE practices to position our solution competitively.- Provide initial post-sale support to ensure successful onboarding and identify expansion opportunities.Required Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in closing B2B SaaS sales, ideally in DevOps, monitoring, or infrastructure tools.- Proven success in closing deals with commercial/mid-market accounts and meeting revenue targets.- Solid understanding of technical concepts like cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and observability fundamentals.- Strong virtual communication skills, with expertise in phone/email outreach and tools like Zoom for demos.- Proficiency in sales tech stack (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, seamless.ai, Salesnav) and methodologies (e.g., MEDDPIC, BANT).- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.Preferred Qualifications- Experience selling observability or SRE solutions (e.g., similar to Datadog, Splunk, or Honeycomb).- Track record in high-velocity sales environments with a focus on SMB/commercial segments.- Familiarity with open-source tools or communities in the observability ecosystem.- Sales certification (e.g., from LinkedIn Learning or similar).Why You’ll Love It Here- Direct Customer Impact – The solutions you will represent will power critical AI-driven operations for enterprises.- Varied Challenges – help bring AI-driven solutions into real-world scenarios.- High Growth & Visibility – Influence GTM and customer outcomes.- Fast-Paced, Collaborative Team – Join a passionate group of sellers who value speed, creativity, and impact.- Events & Travel- Team Bonding, Mad Demos, Friday drinks with colleagues, 4 Lunches a week, Thursday WFHTo apply, email: careers@neubird.ai
