About the Role
Care Gap & Coding Automation (CGCA) is Qventus' newest product line — a generative AI solution that helps health systems close documentation and coding gaps that drive material quality and financial outcomes. Our first condition in the market is malnutrition, with additional conditions on the near-term roadmap.
CGCA is in an early and pivotal stage of its product lifecycle. We have a beta product live at a number of partner sites and are iterating quickly toward a confirmed, sellable scope. Each implementation directly shapes the product, the playbook, and the commercial model — including a free 2-month pilot structure that converts to a paid contract on the strength of demonstrated outcomes.
As a Technical Implementation & Product Partner on the CGCA team, you will sit inside Product and own the end-to-end technical implementation of CGCA for our earliest clients. You'll work alongside a Client Success Partner—who owns the overall client relationship and pilot conversion—as the technical counterpart on each engagement, managing the full deployment lifecycle during the pilot and early production phases. That means performing hands-on build and EHR integration work, partnering with client IT, informatics, and analyst teams, and translating implementation learnings directly into product strategy. Because CGCA is still taking shape, you'll also help productize what we learn: rigorously testing and validating new features before they reach clients, informing feature design and scoping, building the technical implementation playbook, and helping stand up our Delivery team to eventually own this work as CGCA reaches general availability.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, wants to help build a product line from the ground up, and is energized by working hand-in-hand with clinical and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the timeline for enterprise-wide deployments of the Qventus Care Gap and Coding Automation solution, providing technical project leadership across the full lifecycle from internal kickoff through go-live, including identifying and driving resolution of risks and issues.
- Perform hands-on build and configuration activities, including EHR integration work, to stand up the solution at client sites.
- Contribute to the design and scoping of new features, bringing field and implementation insight—particularly on features with EHR embedded components.
- Support client-agnostic testing and validation of new product changes prior to broader release.
- Work with Data Integration Specialists, Clinical Operations Consultants, and Product Specialists throughout each deployment to identify and implement solutions that deliver client value.
- Collaborate with external client teams to understand evolving requirements, partnering closely with the Client Success Partner and building strong working relationships with client IT, clinical informatics, EHR, and analyst teams to deliver the technical implementation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, uncover workflow gaps, and translate ambiguous requirements into clear implementation plans and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and maintain the technical implementation playbook—build steps, integration patterns, deployment artifacts, workflow designs, and test/validation scripts—to support successful deployments and a clean eventual handoff to Delivery.
- Contribute to roadmapping conversations, ensuring implementation learnings and client requirements shape the product roadmap.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of project or program management experience with a comprehensive understanding of the business requirements and technical capabilities needed for enterprise-wide SaaS implementations, including managing end-to-end project lifecycles across multiple internal and external teams.
- 5+ years of professional experience working at a leading healthcare consulting firm, digital health company, or health system.
- 5+ years of experience in an implementation, delivery, or product-oriented role—candidates with a strong product management or product operations background are equally encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated experience working with both client-facing teams and engineering or product teams, and comfort operating at the intersection of implementation and product.
- Experience with EHR integration and build activities; experience with Epic integrations and relevant Epic certifications is highly preferred.
- Strong technical proficiency, including a solid background in SQL and the ability to interpret technical logic and code.
- Proven track record applying strong quantitative and analytical skills in hospital systems, including EHR implementations and complex provider-side technology deployments.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear, scalable implementation processes, deployment artifacts, and test scripts.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the diligence to work carefully through test scripts and validation steps and ensure our products are fully validated before they reach clients.
- Ability to identify gaps, navigate ambiguity, and independently drive solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Intrinsically motivated—you can see what needs to happen and drive it without a manager setting your priorities each week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other major EHR platforms, particularly with embedded/integrated components.
- Experience with FHIR and/or HL7 integration.
- Experience contributing to product design, feature scoping, or product testing and validation.
- Experience working with clinical and/or process consultants.
- Domain knowledge of care coordination, care gap closure, coding workflows, and related metrics, processes, challenges, and solutions.
