Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in real-time bidding, digital advertising, PyTorch, Jupyter notebooks, ML models, regressions, multi-armed bandits, reinforcement learning, and low latency real-time inference to join our dynamic San Mateo-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and real-time advertising, with a passion for developing and deploying state-of-the-art models. You will be working on a greenfield project leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI for streaming video advertising.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement Real time bidding advertising ML models using PyTorch focused on reinforcement learning, regression, and multi-armed bandits. Conduct research, build production data pipelines, and integrate solutions into production systems. Use Jupyter and BigQuery for prototyping, perform data preprocessing/analysis, and maintain documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven ML engineering experience, specifically in real-time advertising (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges) with a variety of model architectures
• Strong Python and PyTorch proficiency
• Experience applying RL, boosted trees, regression, and bandits to advertising/RTB
• Proficient with Jupyter notebooks and Google Cloud Platform
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ML frameworks, advanced statistics, data visualization, Docker/Kubernetes, and production ML deployments. Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
